Hi there!

My nickname is Cassu, and i live in Helsinki, Finland. I have been a Lada enthusiast for a while now.

It all started couple years ago, when my friend (Juha) bought a 2101(3). I created a webpage for blog type of use for Juha's 2101.
It didn't take long until i bought my own 2105(3). That was the first Lada i have ever bought / drive.
After a while i added my Lada to the webpage also. We became involved with Finnish Lada association called "Lada Kerho Ry".
By Lada Kerho's forum and few meetings with the other members we quickly gained a lot of new friends. :)

Juha had found a garage for rent. We rented the garage and started to go there to fix our Ladas.

As i was designing the new webpage layout for our Ladas, i created the jocular "team LADA VAZ HERE." Pretty soon we gained a member to our "team". Then another ... and another...
...and now we have pretty nice group of team members (5 members). And bigger garage (240m2).

Our homepage www.ladat.org tells you more about our team / members / cars / meetings...
This is the hobby i like to have - tuning a Lada, not a typical BMW or something like that. My current project is called "redrum".
This thread shows you what my brains and hands produced this time.

Siin on link minu projekti juurde.

I have one question for you:

One day u paint doors, next day roof or one side. But why u don`t paint all the car at same time?

Sorry, but my english is not very good :)

Also nice project

Simply because we dont have separate room / space for painting. Spraying less paint at one time = less smelly & nasty dust ...

Peale kõige muu on kellad ka naljakad, nagu traktoril. Tahhomeeter oleks ikka spidomeetriga võinud sama suur olla, sest paistab veidi keskmisest sportlikum üritus olema.
...aga headerid on ilusad

Ups, sorry, that“s why everyone is writing in english now...
The gauges look like on some old tractor. if the tachometer was bigger (like speedometer) it would be more realistic. It is a projeckt sports car afterall...
... but very nice headers

What about future plans? It seems like there is a lot to be done with brakes, steering, interior...?

I can't believe you bought the car for 20 euros! 300 eek! With new winter tires and clutch and a full tank of gas. The gas alone is worth ~500 eek.

A car worth 20 eur has been turned priceless:cool:
