Its a bit different, but yes its based on Finnish "Mainostelevisio (MTV)" (now "MTV3") old logo.

That old logo is where the idea came from. That owl fits well in that interior (IMO).

My mother used to work in MTV3 back in the days when it still was called "Mainostelevisio (MTV)".

in estonia there is like a law against driving without bumpers, but if you registrated it again didnt you have any problems with that?

I exchanged those rims to another rims i didn't need.
Rims are 14" and from Fiat Bravo/Brava. Rims has been "turned around" by a professional. (Were turned when i exchanged them). Brand new Michelin Energy 185/65/R14 tires...

Looks pretty nice, and now its much better and easier to drive!

Nope, no problems without bumpers in Finland ... Doesn't matter if you don't have bumpers in your car here. It's the owners call... If you drive without them, its up to you.

The car is looking extremely badass i should say!

I'm afraid the tyres could "bite" the edge of the wheel arch a bit when fully loaded or when cornering hard, so watch out;) Especially with this kind of tire profile (my 195/60 does the same trick with even less offset)...

Btw, I watched a movie called "The Shining" by S.Kubrick lately, is that where you got the Redrum-murder nick for the car?:D

Redrum won't ever be fully loaded, since its registered for two (2) (driver+passenger). So maximum people count is two ... and its for driving, not for carrying things

Tyres are bited by the wheel arch a bit in _BIG_ BUMPS. Now it has gas shock absorbers on rear (changed today), so it doesnt bounce so much anymore. Springs might be changed soon... Im also planning of modding the wheel archs itself...

The name "Redrum" ... Did it come from the movie "The shining"? ... That question you can answer by yourself after looking a while of this picture:

...and you might ask: "why did you choose THAT name?"

... The answer is:

The guy who sold me this Lada told me that this car has been playing a role as a police car in one movie shooted in Finland around 1990 - 1993.

I wanted to add something from the cars past to the project (as "respect" of this Ladas history), so there it came.

Naturally murder is connected to work that police does and "murder" it self was a bit boring. "Redrum" is much more interresting ... especially when written as in "The Shining" ... and looked via mirror

As some of you might know, "Redrum" is also one Finnish RAP-artist. This project name has NOTHING to do with that guy or rap whatsoever.

As much as i love techno, acid, acidhouse, house and other that kind of music (and compose it by myself also), i still dont like rap since i think its just crap.
